  • Led BCAMEC to greater spiritual heights and built a new edifice in 1999

  • Membership in various organizations and Boards, including the following: Hope Clinic; the Ypsilanti-Willow Run Branch of the NAACP; Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Ministerial Advisory Team; and the Southeastern Michigan A.M.E. Minister’s Alliance; and community activist

Christian Preparation and Experiences

  • 1972 Joined Oak Grove A.M.E. Church, Detroit; served there for over 19 years as a Trustee, member of Male Chorus, and Minister of Business & Finance

  • 1986 (December), accepted the call to Christian Ministry

  • 1989 ordained at St. Stephen A.M.E. Church in Detroit, MI  as an itinerant Deacon in the A.M.E. Church and served until 1991 at Oak Grove A.M.E. Church in Detroit, MI as an Associate Minister and Building Program Committee Director, (arranged for a mortgage of $1.4 million)

  • 1991 ordained at Ebenezer A.M.E. Church in Detroit,  MI as an Itinerant Elder in the A.M.E. Church

  • 1991 (May) Entered full time into the Christian Ministry after a 23 year career at Ford Motor Company in Finance and Accounting, highlighted by arranging loan financing packages totaling $220 million for Renaissance Center, Detroit, MI
